2AJ315 -Exam practice for CAE (C1)
This one semester course is aimed at students whose knowledge is nearing the C1 level. It is focused on the language, skills and strategies essential for passing the internationally recognized Cambridge Advanced exam which is aligned with the level C1 of CEFR. The exam is recognised by most British Universities as a part of the entrance exam for foreign students.
2AJ153 - Intensive Czech for Foreigners
This course is focused on basic Czech. The level of difficulty corresponds with A1 level of the EU reference frame for languages called beginner.
2AJ172 - Chinese - Elementary Course B for IBB (A1)
Acquainting students with the basics of Chinese grammar and word formation. Reinforcement of the standardized transcription of Chinese characters. The emphasis is on the practical use of modern Chinese.
2AJ416 - English Grammar in Use 1 (B2/C1)
The aim is to show the specific features and semantic characteristics of grammatical structures and practise their use in communication under various circumstances (formal – informal, ESP, etc.).
2AJ419 - Introduction to China's history and culture
The aim of this course is to introduce the Chinese cultural space to Czech and international students from the historic point of view while focusing on those elements which have endured in Chinese civilization or contributed greatly to its development. Our aim is not to present Chinese history as a line of dates and events but rather to connect its political, economic, social and cultural aspects in a set of coherent chapters.
2AJ171 - Chinese - Elementary Course A for IBB (A1)
The course is an introduction to the basics of Chinese language, the origin, development and writing of Chinese characters and the specifics of Chinese pronunciation.
